Most of work I’ve been involved with for HBO was tied to their ecommerce store. Perhaps the most significant was a set of content-rich landing pages my team put together for the epic series Game of Thrones. The goal was to capture the interest of fans by weaving elements of the show’s story and imagery—including the key families’ rich history—with products tailored for the ultimate fan. The result was a beautiful presentation that went above and beyond the typical banner approach and yielded one of the strongest returns for an already high-performing store.
